    Dr Mahshid Nickkho-Amiry is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with 19 years of experience, practising at HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital and The Portland Hospital Outpatients in Hale. She earned her medical degree from the University of Manchester in 2005, completed specialist training in the North West of England, and achieved membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She was awarded a PhD for her research on endometrial cancer and also holds a postgraduate certificate.

    She leads the specialist fertility clinic, offering expert care for patients with fertility concerns, ovulation disorders, and reproductive challenges. In her role as lead hysteroscopist, she carries out minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat a range of gynaecological conditions. She is skilled in gynaecological, pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound, including advanced assessment of tubal patency using HyCoSy and saline infusion sonography. She also serves as an honorary senior lecturer and associate undergraduate tutor for medical students.

    Her subspecialties encompass gynaecology, reproductive medicine, and sonography.
